Ranger just earned his 5th/Master title leg at Sauvie Island on July 30th and qualified for the 2005 Master National!! Ranger went 4 for 4 for his Senior title in 2003 and 5 for 8 for Master (which isn't a bad record for a 4 1/2 year old show pup) Ranger also tied for 1st Place at this year's PSLRA 5 Series with 99 points. He officially came in 2nd Place after running the tie breaking mark.
Ranger is a very special boy and a wonderful companion. Not only does he excel at his hunt test work, he is one heck of a hunting dog. Some avid hunter friends have described Ranger as "the best pheasant dog they have ever seen", and pro-trainers have called him a "freak of nature" since he has so much natural talent and drive in the field for a conformation bred dog.
Ranger is currently in training to qualify for the 2006 Master National, as well as his Canadian and American Championships and will be in the show ring more this fall/winter.
